One of my favorite snack is Beef Shawarma...and this is my take on it. It maybe not authentic as what they do in Middle East but I am sure it's very Pinoy the way it taste. First, I hope you still remember the ground beef tapa recipe I posted previously because it is the same recipe you will be using for this one. I just hoped you still have some left overs so you can try it right away. You read it right! I am good at recycling oh maybe the right word is being resourceful lol...I always wonder what to do with my left overs. Let's face it we get tired eating the same food over time. You can use any dressing you want, I suggest anything that has a garlic would do just fine. So use Ranch dressing or what I used here is Drew's Roasted Garlic & Peppercorn dressing.
For the ingredients, you can adjust it to your liking. You can have more or less beef. You can even add other vegetables you have in your kitchen like fresh cucumber or pickles. Again, adjust it to your liking. My recipe here is just a guide. Thanks. Enjoy!
1/2 cup ground beef tapa
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 cup minced tomato
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
3 slices of White American cheese sliced in half
6 small super soft flour tortilla
Roasted Garlic & Peppercorn or Ranch dressing
Procedure
1. Warm the tortilla in a pan over low heat.
2. Place the cheese and beef on the warmed tortilla.
3. Add the veggies.
4. Roll it as you would with a taco.
5. Pour dressing.
***you can also used the medium or large size tortilla just adjust the measurements of the other ingredients...ENJOY!!!
