Mixed Seafood in Coconut Milk or Seafood Ginataan...My Style

Craving for something different? Tired of eating the usual meal? Go check your pantry or freezer...pretty sure you have some leftover seafood or fish. Well, that's what we are cooking this time...Mixed Seafood with coconut milk or Seafood Ginataan. Simply translated, this recipe is mixed seafood cooked in coconut milk. It seems that the coconut milk compliments the taste of the seafood. It is also very easy to prepare and cook. Did I forget to say delicious? The only issue with this recipe, is that you're going to eat  more steamed rice. Definitely, no dieting today! I like it a bit spicy too, and as always you can adjust the taste to your liking!

Ingredients:
1 lb mixed seafood (shrimps, crab, squid, mussels, fish-whatever you have!)
1 can coconut milk
2 tsp shrimp paste
4-5 cloves garlic minced
1 medium onion sliced
1 small ginger sliced into strips
1 long green pepper
salt to taste

Procedure:
1. Put the mixed seafood, ginger, garlic, onion coconut milk, shrimp paste in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
2. Let it simmer uncovered, stirring frequently until seafood is cooked.
3. Add the long green pepper. Enjoy it with rice.

TIPS:
***you can add sliced bok choy too with the long green pepper!
