Adobong Sitaw (Stringbeans Adobo)

Let's get healthy, it is good to eat healthy and live with this good principle. But I know it's hard for some. Not everyone love eating vegetables but give it a try. Growing up, I remember just eating water spinach (kangkong), my favorite during my elementary days. Then, every now and then I would try other vegetables. When I was in college, I was eating almost every vegetable known. And it's my go to food whenever I am dieting just like now hahaha! Going back to our recipe for this time, Adobong Sitaw...why not? It's easy to find especially if you are close to any Asian market. It's just like any adobo recipe, but you can always add meat if you want or you can add some adobo sauce from your chicken/pork adobo. Believe me it's even tastier. Just make sure you are using vinegar from the Philippines to capture it's true Filipino taste.

Ingredients:
1 lb sitaw, 4 cloves garlic, 1 medium sliced onion
45ml soy sauce, 45 ml vinegar, 3/4 cup water,
4 bay leaves, 1 tbsp. black peppercorns
Combine all ingredients in a pan, cover and let it simmer
for 10 minutes or till the string beans becomes tender
Transfer to a plate and serve with rice. Enjoy(",)
